Jackson Hole part II
Jackson Hole part II
The "G" Spot?!?! Let me elaborate. It is official. My car loves Wyoming. My reasoning. All the way up to Wyoming, we got 24 - 25 miles per gallon in gas milage, BUT, once we entered Wyoming, it jumped up to 27. So naturally, you would think that it must have been mostly downhill into Jackson Hole... so you would expect that on the way out of Jackson Hole, it would be less because we would be going uphill, BUT, my mileage actually went up even more to 28! So CLEARLY, we found the "G35" spot, and it is in Jackson Hole, WY.

The conference went well. We had some really great speakers talk all about the rosary and all the biblical relationships within the mass. What a blessing to have experienced that. I sure do hope and pray that the teens got as much out of it as I did.
Our high school group was really good. I don't think there has ever been a group of teenagers gathered together that have behaved so well. Almost a little too well...? A few more joined the second day so we ended with about 20 or so.
These pics really don't do any of this justice. Its truly a beautiful place to visit and live. If I was part polar bear, I would live there in a heartbeat. Please ignore some of the glares from my dashboard... its tough to shoot pics through the window of a highway bound vehicle. Regardless, we did manage to see a bit of fall COLOR. We even experienced (a weak experience, but one none the less) actual ranching!
2 stops for gas and food, and 14.5 hours later, we arrived safe and sound at home. Special thanks to Kevin Day for putting up with my choice of country music =). Check out his website DayWelding.com and all the amazing pieces of art he's created. Until next time, check out the rest of our pics, and thanks for stoppin by Arizona.
